This set has 17 dolls, which are maximum number of Mataro dolls. Screen covered with gold leaf and worked lattece reminds the atmosphere of ancient Japanese residence. Vermilion and black steps aredesigned in mother-of-pearl inlay (raden). Cherry blossoms are in full bloom. Tools such as the palanquin and the bureau have hand painted.
