This helmet is in the motif of Naga kuwa gata (long spade shape), which it is said that Yoshiie Minamoto (a Minamoto clan samurai of the late Heian period) wore. This helmet is a kind of Hoshi kabuto (star helmet). It has golden shooting star patterns on its backward and forward and glued buckskin on Fukikaeshi and Mabisashi parts.
On both sides of the helmet, there are a bow of Shigeto and a sword of Kinpukurin.
For the sword, Icchu used shark leather.
