This is a quarter-scale helmet decoration. In the Nanboku court era, just
after the Kamakura period, Ashikaga Takauji used Ookuwa gata (a big stag beetle) type of helmet.
This helmet is a kind of Hoshi kabuto (star helmet). It has golden shooting
star patterns on its backward and forward.
For Odoshi, Icchu used buckskin printed cherry blossoms.
On both sides of the helmet, there are a bow of Shigeto and a sword of Kinpukurin no tachi.
For the sword, Icchu used shark leather.
